exposed wallold carpets
it looked like something from a bygone era. the carpets looked very old. housekeeping appears to reuse opened toilet paper rolls. it's not hygienic for new guests.

The location was great for transport. the metro station sat directly outside the hotel entrance. staff proved friendly. They helped when i needed it. breakfast offered sufficient choices to start the day. i liked the cozy bed and bathroom.
the street made considerable noise, disturbing sleep sometimes.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful (they really seemed to enjoy their work!). The location is excellent. I could easily walk to attractions and public transport. The breakfast offered good variety. There was also luggage storage, a helpful service when I wanted to explore more before heading home.
The decor could use some updating. The building feels a bit old.
